Save the date and plan to attend NO KINGS EVENT Saturday October 18, 2025 Time: 8am to Noon. We will line the streets on Oracle Rd. Between Pusch View Lane heading North to just past 1st Ave. and the Home Depot Plaza. I have talked with Oro Valley Police Department and we are all set. So gather your signs, your family and friends and let's us show that Tucson, Oro Valley and surrounding areas are behind stopping this administration from striping Our Constitution and that we DO NOT WANT A KING OR 2025 TO RULE OUR COUNTRY. Things to be mindful of: 1. This is a peaceful demonstration. Please don't engage with those who may try to make this less than peaceful. If you need information on how to interact let me know. 2. Parking: Please try to park in areas that won't effect the retail outlets in the shopping plazas. Park as close to the east end of the parking lot and maybe carpool with friends and family. The last event had 2500 and we hope for many many more. 3. All participants need to stay on the sidewalks and public ease ways for your safety. Stay out of the street PLEASE. Crossing over must be done at traffic lights. Please obey the laws. 4. October should be a lot cooler but remember to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, layers, hat, remember sun screen, water and snacks. There are a number of fast food places that would enjoy your getting snacks from them.We will have music playing close to First Watch, I will also have a table in that area so you can find me if need be. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
