Join us Wednesday, November 5th for our screening of “The Encampments” by Watermelon Pictures. Followed by a panel. This powerful documentary captures the student-led resistance at Columbia and campuses across North America, demanding divestment from genocide. Over a year ago Ottawa students and community members joined this global movement and held an encampment on Taberet lawn. This film portrays the historic significance encampments have created in the fight for divestment, one that continues today.
