OTTAWA - Join us on November 7th at 5:30PM at the Human Rights Monument to stand in solidarity with our Sudanese brothers and sisters. From Gaza to Darfur, we must be united in our fight against imperialism! Sudan has long stood with movements that opposed imperial domination, from the Palestinian resistance to anti-colonial movements across the region. That act of defiance marked it as a target in the eyes of the imperialists. The U.S. placed Sudan under crippling sanctions and bombed its factories. So-called israel bombed Sudanese infrastructure and used its embassy networks to back groups that would further divide the Sudanese nation. Today, the UAE, US and israel collaborate to supply weapons for horrific massacres in Darfur, El-Fashir and across Sudan. The last couple of days have seen some of the most brutal and unimaginable violence. The RSF, armed and financed by the UAE and backed by Mossad and US agents, is carrying out a campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide. The people of Sudan have never left the side of the Palestinian people and their resistance, and we are here to say that we will never leave the side of the Sudanese people in their just struggle for liberation.
