Join us for the March for Our Country, Constitution, and Democracy taking place on the Waccamaw Neck Bike Path in Pawleys Island, SC 29585. This path runs along Highway 17 North from the South Causeway to the North Causeway. Our starting point is at the Food Lion Mall, closer to Route 17 than the store itself. There are parking lots available at Food Lion and Lowe's Foods nearby, but please be mindful of where you park, as we are not allowed to park in any private lots to avoid being towed at the owner's expense. The march will be a circuit of approximately 2 miles out and back. If it's too long, feel free to turn around whenever you need to! If you want more distance, we encourage you to make multiple laps. Marching in groups is highly recommended. Remember to bring your signs, water, snacks, and dress appropriately for the weather. It's essential to maintain a unified message during this protest. Our message is simple: we love our country and stand up for the Constitution, democracy, and our liberties. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
