Trump and the billionaire-backed fossil fuel industry are threatening our lives by pushing fracked gas pipelines, like the Williams NESE pipeline and Enbridge's expansion of the existing so-called Algonquin pipeline, dubbed Project Maple. These pipelines would raise our utility bills, exacerbate air pollution and health impacts, and contribute to worsening extreme weather events. Instead of standing up to Trump's agenda, Governor Hochul seems to be making deals. Since a backdoor meeting with Trump in March, Hochul has suggested she is open to approving new pipelines in New York, including previously-defeated projects like NESE. Over 130 elected officials all over the state and various municipalities in the Hudson Valley and Westchester have urged Governor Hochul to stop Trump's fracked gas pipelines. We need to keep putting the pressure on Gov. Hochul to do the right thing for New Yorkers and stop her from caving to Trump!
