Homeowners and renters from across Philadelphia are calling on the city to create a housing plan with housing we can afford. On Thursday, October 16 we will hold a rally on the North Side of City Hall. The H.O.M.E. Initiative is a great opportunity to address the housing crisis, but too little of the funding goes to the people who need it most. We are demanding that the city prioritize low-income homeowners and renters over developers and people making six figures. Specifically, we call on the city to increase funding for home repairs, rental assistance, acquisition and preservation of affordable housing, and homelessness prevention.
