Movement For Black Lives

Community Listening Forum

Lend your voice to the conversations shaping Freedom Side! 💛 On November 22, @freedomsideschool is inviting families & individuals impacted by incarceration to join us for a Community Listening Forum. We know the work of building a more free world–and to build Freedom Side!– must be led by people who have been directly impacted, so we're gathering in West Philly for a community discussion, and candid Q&A with the Freedom Side School staff. Come prepared to ask questions, raise your concerns, and share your experiences! We want to hear from you so we can build with you. West Philly Mennonite Fellowship is an ADA accessible space. Childcare will be available through our incredible community partner, Philly Childcare Collective! Light refreshments will be provided. Covid testing and masking are welcome and encouraged, test and masks will be provided onsite. Tap the QR code, or use the link in @freedomsideschool bio to RSVP! Questions? DM us or email Terrell at freedomsideschool dot org. We’re looking forward to this time together, and continuing the conversations that support our work for the next generation of Freedom Fighters! 🌼📚🧡 Where: West Philly Mennonite Fellowship (123 S. 51st St) When: 1-3pm (doors open at 12:30) Accessibility: ADA accessible space, childcare will be provided by Philly Childcare Collective, street parking is available, with a passenger loading area directly in front of the building. 📸 Photo credits (and deep gratitude❤️‍🔥) @rayephoto Repost via @freedomsideschool
