⛓️‍💥FREE THEM ALL: Philly WAWOG’s fifth community town hall and fundraiser for Gaza will be held Tuesday, March 31 from 6-9 at Calvary Center (801 S 48th St), organized in collaboration with @bapphiladelphia @phillymuslimfreedomfund and @racialjusticephilly. 🗝️From Philly to Palestine, from concentration camps in the belly of the beast to open air prisons at the edge of empire, carceral logic is core to the United States’s desperate strategy for maintaining global hegemony. The genocide in Gaza, mass deportations and detention at the hand of DHS, and the prison-industrial complex are all part of this imperial machinery. Join us to learn and discuss how the fascist lapdogs called ICE, the IOF, and the PPD share skills and resources; and how supporting the abolishment of ICE means saying Free Palestine and, ultimately, free them all. 📣Our program will feature a political grounding and reading from the New York War Crimes, presentations from the co-organizers, a teach-in and panel about the international network of militarized police and prison maintenance, and a fundraising raffle. 🎟️ Registration is free at wawog.typeform.com/march-31 .
