BOYCOTT SEASON: Philly WAWOG’s fourth community town hall and fundraiser for Gaza will be held 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟲–𝟵𝗣𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (801 S 48 Street), organized in collaboration with 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗮. From the Philly-based corporation that manufactured the bullets that killed Hind Rajab, to the “local” Philly business that produces tahini on occupied Palestinian land, the entities that feed off of genocide enjoy record-breaking profits and impunity while Gaza starves and freezes under a sham “ceasefire.” ❌ As these corporations continue to extract, consume, and engineer yet another record-breaking profit season, we refuse complicity, and instead collectively harness our power to do economic damage to the institutions upholding genocide. Join us for BOYCOTT SEASON, where we will gather to learn, strategize, and strengthen ongoing boycott campaigns for Palestine. 🇵🇸 Our program will feature a political grounding and reading from the new issue of the New York War Crimes, a teach-in on CooknSolo and the ways that the Zionist entity uses food to promote normalization, a fundraising raffle, and breakout groups where attendees can plug in to ongoing campaigns including Mask Off Maersk, No Appetite For Apartheid, Day & Zimmerman Out of Philly, the Boycott Teva Pharmaceuticals campaign, and more. 🎟️ 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝘁.𝗹𝘆/𝗯𝗼𝘆𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁-𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻. Donations will be accepted at the door ($0-$40 sliding scale) and will benefit 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 (@camp.ofhope), a mutual aid initiative in northern Gaza started by a 22-year-old nurse, Nada, to provide her family and neighbors with much needed resources like food, clean water, and medicine. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Free childcare will be provided by Philly Childcare Collective. ♿ Accessibility: Walk-up entrance and wheelchair lift are both located on 48th Street. 😷 Face masks are required and will be distributed at the door.
