This a local Indivisible event! Indivisible East Contra Costa County is holding a protest on the Railroad Avenue Overpass in Pittsburg. This is a great location as will not only have large signs displayed on the overpass fence for viewing by passing vehicles on Highway 4, but we can also protest along the sidewalks of the overpass and at the intersections on both ends of the overpass. Bring your signs, flags and enthusiasm. Make your voice heard! Together we can make a difference. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
