️📚 PITTSBURGH WATCH PARTIES of The People’s Forum Course Series: Hidden Histories of Rebellion in the United States! 🧭 Hidden Histories of Rebellion in the United States is an 8-part seminar series uncovering the people’s uprisings that are rarely taught and intentionally buried - from enslaved rebellions and Black–Indigenous alliances, to labor revolts, antiwar resistance, prison uprisings, and the movements of our own time. The battle over history is not symbolic. When we know who rose up before us - who organized across race, gender, and borders - we gain the confidence to rise up ourselves and fight for a better world. This series put on by The People’s Forum in NYC (@peoplesforumnyc) runs on Tuesdays from January 17 to March 17 in a hybrid format! The Pittsburgh Liberation Center invites you to watch parties starting on week 2, Tuesday, February 3! We will watch the course together from 6:30-8:30pm and allow time for some brief discussion.
