Once again, “We the people of Ottawa County” are going to accept a call to action, joining millions of others, in towns and cities nationwide, to emphasize the illegalities and immoral overreach of the trump regime, during NO Kings Day 2.0. Project 2025, and it's front man and, wannabe king, DJT, are triggering the death of democracy. Join us in Port Clinton, on Oct 18th, as we embrace this dark Halloween season to provide a stark presentation to our community and to our representatives; dramatically exposing the incredible number of losses that we and America are suffering. The graphic of a single tombstone displaying an individual loss would be stirring. We will present each evil attack against our democracy, as its own tombstone, consequently replicating a graveyard. This visual will embolden our community to resist, to stand up and to fight back! A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
