Join HCAO and the Portland Federal Unionists Network this May Day! From the "Labor Says: ICE Out" mobilization in January to the recent "No Kings" march, Portland has shown that organized labor is a vital check on authoritarian overreach. As federal agents increasingly target our airports and transit hubs, we are centering migrant and immigrant justice this May Day to show that an injury to one is an injury to all. Event Schedule – May 1, 2026: --1:00 PM: Arrive at South Park Blocks (use St. James Lutheran Church as a landmark). --1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Program of speakers and cultural performances. --3:30 PM: March through downtown, passing the Mexican Consulate and the World Trade Center before returning to the park.
