Together we’ll explore how the bi-partisan “War on Terror” led to the creation of DHS, ICE, CPB, and the whole framework that effectively criminalized immigration in the United States. We’ll connect this history to the present day and to the broader project of war, militarism, and racism that the Trump administration is advancing today, from mass deportations to the war on Iran. We affirm the reality that migration is not a crime, and we continue the legacy of the immigrant rights movement by fighting the latest iteration of the war on immigrants.
