NO KINGS National Day of Mobilization 10/18
Join Prescott Indivisible, Yavapai County Democratic Party, Democratic Women of the Prescott Area, and Martin Luther King Committee for No Kings National Day of Mobilization Sidewalk Protest.
We rose up once, and on October 18 we’ll rise again—because one protest isn’t enough to protect our democracy.
As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS nonviolent movement continues to grow stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people.
On October 18, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.
PLEASE CHECK BACK PERIODICALLY FOR ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION. YOU MAY ALSO RECEIVE AN EMAIL IN THE FUTURE

Instructions for event.
Saturday October 18, 2025 / 10 AM – 12 PM /
SR 69 in Prescott Valley.
We will begin on the sidewalk on the north side between N. Lake Valley
Road and Glassford Hill Road. We will line the sidewalk between Lake
Valley Road and Glassford Hill Road, avoiding the intersections which are
too congested. As registrations increase, we may expand our
demonstration area to the west.
Initial parking is available in the Town of Prescott Valley – Town Center
which houses the Harkins Theatre parking lot. Plenty of parking but please
park away from any of the businesses so as not to take up spaces for their
patrons. If our protest area expands, we will provide additional parking
directions.
In the event of counter protesters, we will remain together and we will not
engage. If any counter protester becomes a problem, please notify a
Peacekeeper so the situation can be addressed. The Prescott Valley Police
Department has been notified of our event and will do periodic checks of
the area.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
Be careful crossing streets when accessing the sidewalk area. Drivers are
not always paying attention. You may also be crossing through some
business parking lots as you work your way to the sidewalk. Again, be
mindful of vehicular traffic and respectful of private property.
We will have extra signs for use during the event. If you have large signs or
banners, please bring them, the larger – the better - and American Flags
