No Kings

NO KINGS Pueblo, CO

This October 18th, Pueblo will rise to join communities across the nation for No Kings 2: Power Belongs to the People — a nationwide day of action demanding accountability, defending democracy, and proving that the people—not the powerful—are the true source of authority in America. But here in Pueblo, we’re taking it one step further. This isn’t just a rally — it’s a launchpad for real, nonviolent action. We’ll gather in the heart of Pueblo for an unforgettable morning of speakers, music, spoken word, chants, and unity — surrounded by a sea of signs calling for justice, dignity, and democracy. Then we’ll turn that energy into action: connecting with voters, boosting turnout, and strengthening our community’s voice ahead of the November 4th municipal elections. Because ballots will already be in voters’ hands, we’re inviting everyone to bring your completed ballot and drop it off right there at the official Courthouse drop box. Let’s make this rally not only a statement—but a demonstration of democracy in action. 💪 What to Expect in Pueblo 🎤 Powerful speakers & emcees who will inspire, challenge, and empower 🎶 Live music, spoken word, and chants to raise our collective spirit 🗳️ Ballot Drop Celebration — bring your filled-out ballot and cast it on-site 🤝 Candidate’s Corner — meet local candidates and learn where they stand 🚪 Action Stations to sign up for door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and postcard writing 📜 Ballot Breakdown & Resource Tents to help you decode the ballot, learn your rights, and plug into long-term civic engagement opportunities 🕊️ Why Nonviolent Action Matters Throughout history, the greatest movements for justice have been rooted in peaceful, disciplined, and strategic nonviolent action. From Gandhi’s independence movement to Dr. King’s march for civil rights, nonviolence has consistently proven to be the most effective—and enduring—path to real change. Our rally stands in that proud tradition. We believe courage, not chaos, is what shifts power. On October 18th, we’ll show Pueblo—and the nation—that strength and peace are not opposites; they’re the same force, united in action. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property.
