Monthly Hang & Playdate
Central Queens Mutual Aid
We’ve launched — now it’s time for our April Monthly Hang & Playdate and it’s all about defending our immigrant neighbors! 💪
Join us and our special guests — @foresthillsindivisible and @handsoffnyc for an afternoon of learning, solidarity, and community building focused on immigration defense and community support.
This is a kid-friendly event, so bring the whole family!
For the grown-ups:
• An immigration defense panel with Hands Off NYC and sharing of learnings and strategies from Minnesota • A business canvassing training with Forest Hills Indivisible
• ICE whistle kit building
For the kiddos:
• Story time
• Art and letter writing for children currently in ICE detention
For everyone:
• Food pantry donations accepted — please bring any unexpired, shelf-stable items you’d like to contribute
Come get plugged in to all the ways we can show up for each other and all of our neighbors — in solidarity, not charity — and collectively build communities grounded in dignity and care. 🫶
