Democratic Socialists of America NYC

A Q&A with professor Corey Robin on The Reactionary Mind.

NYC-DSA citywide political education working group is excited to present a Q&A with professor Corey Robin on The Reactionary Mind. Billed as “the book that predicted Trump,” we hope this book’s - and its author’s - sharp insights on conservatism can help us to understand how our rivals think, how our current situation came to be, and how we plot a course to better times. Corey Robin is Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Brooklyn College and the CUNY Graduate Center. He is the author of The Enigma of Clarence Thomas, The Reactionary Mind, and Fear, and a frequent contributor to The New Yorker, Jacobin, The New York Review of Books, and other publications. He is currently at work on King Capital, a political theory of capitalism, which is under contract with Random House, and a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.
