HELP DEFEND DEMOCRACY – Let’s Stand Together again! Join us on Thursday, November 13th from 5 to 6 pm in Ridgefield to rally for our democracy. We’ll be on the SW Corner this time (across the street from Rosauers due to ongoing Pioneer Street construction). Our purpose is to make 'good trouble' and stay focused on signage specific about the policies and actions we oppose and the rights we want to preserve. This is a legal, peaceful rally on public property. Need an idea for a sign? Good messaging might include “RELEASE EPSTEIN FILES”; “STOP ICE” or “STOP ICE OVERREACH”; “MEDICARE FOR ALL”; “NO KINGS, NO FASCISTS”; and “DEFEND DEMOCRACY”. Bring your signs, your enthusiasm, your friendly smiles and waves at drivers passing by and yourself (and maybe a friend)!
