Let's De-ICE Wyoming! Immigrants Made Sweetwater County Great! Join us to protest the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between ICE, DHS, and the Sweetwater County Sherriff’s Department to jail ICE detainees in the Sweetwater County jail, and Sherriff Grossnickle’s “task force” level agreement with ICE to investigate and detain our LOCAL immigrants in Sweetwater County! We will also be protesting Wyoming Highway Patrol agreement in Sweetwater County to participate in the 287(g) program to make arrests on ICE’s behalf. Sweetwater County has always been proud of its immigrant heritage, celebrating it’s 56 nationalities for the last 100 years, and we do not believe that Sherriff Grossnickle’s excitement to work with ICE to detain and deport our immigrants reflects that Sweetwater County pride!
