Indivisible
ICE OFF OUR STREETS - Roseburg, OR
ICE OFF OUR STREETS.
STOP TERRORIZING OUR NEIGHBORS.
ICE has spent the entire year terrorizing our immigrant neighbors — and we’re done staying quiet about it.
On Saturday, December 13th, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., we’re rallying at the Stewart Parkway overpass above I-5 to send a message that cannot be ignored - Abolish ICE!
This is a peaceful, nonviolent, high-visibility rally demanding an end to ICE’s cruelty, fear tactics, and harassment of immigrant families.
We will gather on the sidewalk along the Stewart Parkway overpass above I-5 and hold signs and banners that drivers can clearly see from the highway. Our goal is visibility, solidarity, and truth-telling.
Bring BIG, BOLD signs — short, loud, and unmistakable.
Suggested Sign Ideas:
ABOLISH I.C.E.
UNMASK I.C.E.
I.C.E. IS THE NEW GESTAPO
HONK IF YOUR MORAL COMPASS ISN’T BANKRUPT
THEY BLAME IMMIGRANTS SO YOU WON’T BLAME BILLIONAIRES
END THE I.C.E. AGE
I.C.E. = STATE-SPONSORED TERRORISM

Keep your lettering huge and high-contrast. People must be able to read your sign at 60+ mph from I-5. Big, bold, simple = effective.
What to Expect

Big, high-visibility signage
Our giant banners will be present, including:
Deport ICE
ICE = State Terror
Justice For All
Things to Remember:
Do not block traffic
If counter-protesters or provocateurs show up, do not engage
Remember to keep it peaceful. Everyone is responsible for de-escalation.
Why We’re Doing This
I.C.E.’s cruelty is not abstract — it’s real, local, and devastating. Families live in fear. Workers disappear. Communities are harassed. Children grow up terrified their parents won’t come home.
We refuse to normalize this.
We refuse to be silent.
We refuse to let ICE terrorize our immigrant neighbors in our name.
Stand with us. Stand with our immigrant neighbors.
Join us on the overpass and help deliver a message loud enough for the whole city — and the whole freeway — to hear.
ICE OFF OUR STREETS.
IMMIGRANT NEIGHBORS BELONG.
Note on Parking: To access the overpass facing the Northbound I-5 traffic, park in the empty lot all the way at the top of Boulder Drive on your left (go up the curved road behind Oregon Pacific Bank off of Edenbower Blvd and Boulder Drive) or along the roadway.
Do not cross the road to the other side of the overpass (facing the Southbound I-5 traffic). If you want to protest on that side, please park at the Roseburg Regional Airport and walk up the hill on Stewart Parkway to meet us at the top.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
