North Shore Indivisible is holding a Candlelight Vigil for the U.S. Constitution on Constitution Day, Wednesday, Sept. 17, 7 - 8 pm on Salem Commons. At a time when constitutional democracy is facing a greater threat than ever before in our history, we will gather and read key selections from the Constitution. Readings and LED votive candles will be provided; feel free to stand or bring chairs! This a local Indivisible event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
