SOUNDS OF RESISTANCE | The First Intifada Across generations of Palestinians resisting occupation, imperialism, and genocide, revolutionary songs have historically acted as a process of culturally archiving our people’s resistance. Music and art have long been vehicles for resistance, and we are honored to bring our community together to honor the legacy of the first intifada by learning the story and the lyrics behind the the revolutionary song from the First Intifada, “Stubborn, I Am” (عنيد أنا) by Al-Fajer Group.
