For many years now, Cuba has relied on Venezuelan oil that the Trump Administration is now controlling. Cuba also depends on Mexican oil deliveries that Trump forced to stop by threatening tariffs. Acting President Delcy Rodriguez of Venezuela is being forced into oil and financial deals after the U.S. military attack that killed over 90 Venezuelans and Cubans. This violent attack turned into a kidnapping, violating Venezuela’s sovereignty. It is outrageous! Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are threatening an even bigger U.S. attack unless President Delcy Rodriguez negotiates oil and finance deals: military extortion.
