Thank you to everyone who came out to our first ICE-watch at the Blossom Hill ISAP office on Thursday! We had a great turnout of folks showing up all day to help protect their community. No one was detained on Thursday, and we hope to keep up a strong community presence at this location moving forward to deter future ICE abductions! As we monitored the building for possible detainments, we also connected with people going in for their check-in appointments. We distributed information to community members on how to report ICE activity to the Rapid Response Network and how to start organizing against ICE within their own neighborhoods and workplaces. Please join us next Thursday (2/5) at the ISAP office at any time between 8am-2pm to help protect your neighbors from ICE kidnappings and get connected with more local organizing opportunities!
