We The People - Troubled Nation

MLK Day Visibility Bridge Brigade — January 19

On Monday, January 19, we’re gathering on the overpass to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and to carry his message forward into our own time. His words still call to us with urgency and hope — “The time is always right to do what’s right.” In that spirit, we’re coming together in community to make his message visible, joyful, and impossible to ignore. ✨ Join us to line the overpass, hold signs, wave to passing cars, and remind our neighbors that Dr. King’s vision of justice, courage, and collective action is alive in us today. ✨ Bring your friends, your kids, your signs, your energy — everyone is welcome. ✨ This is a peaceful, uplifting visibility action meant to inspire, connect, and honor the work still ahead. Let’s fill the bridge with love, solidarity, and the reminder that doing what’s right is a daily practice — and we practice it together. Parking: Eastbound side: Park at Taco Bell on Nordahl - Westbound side: Park at Instant Imprints or Baskin Robbins ⚠️ Safety: - Do NOT cross Nordahl on foot — it’s unsafe. - If you need to cross, use only the designated crosswalks at Montiel or Mission. Bring a mask to help with exhaust fumes on the overpass. Bring a sign, bring a friend, and help us send a clear message: our community stands against treason and for democracy. Your presence sends a message that cannot be ignored. WE THE PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER!!!
