Across the country, ICE agents continue to target immigrants in and around Home Depot stores - workers, customers, and surrounding communities. These raids are chaotic, violent, and sometimes deadly. Through its silence and inaction, Home Depot is allowing its properties to become staging grounds for enforcement activity. Each incident deepens fear and instability in our neighborhoods. Our nationwide actions showed that people are paying attention - and now we must keep up the pressure. These atrocities are happening on Home Depot’s watch. When a corporation allows its spaces to be used in ways that endanger vulnerable communities and does nothing to intervene, silence becomes complicity. In San Diego County, Home Depot refuses to provide laborers with a safe place to seek work, denying them basic dignity and respect. On Saturday, February 28, we will protest countywide and demand that Home Depot immediately: PROTECT DAY LABORERS - Ensure the safety and dignity of workers seeking honest employment outside Home Depot stores.
