West Seattle Invisible and Evergreen Resistance invite you to our first rally and march of the year, “We’re Still Standing”. After a difficult year for our communities and our country, we’re coming together to show what we still stand for. We’ll lift up hundreds of signs naming the values we protect and the future we’re committed to building. Join us at Hiawatha Playfield in West Seattle at 12:30 and march with us for approximately one mile (flat surface) to the Alaska Junction at 1:00. We will move with solemn purpose and fierce resolve, and when we arrive, we will stand together as a visible, undeniable force for democracy and community. Show up. Stand strong. Stay in the fight. A core principle behind all Indivisible events and our community of volunteers is a commitment to nonviolent action. Safety is a priority for our principled civic engagement. We expect all participants to seek de-escalation of any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We seek to de-escalate all tension with those momentarily inconvenienced by the action.
