MAY DAY 2026: No Work. No School. No Shopping! Together are training and organizing, sharing our Workers Over Billionaires story, and turning solidarity into strategy. This May Day we are flexing our economic muscle to demonstrate to those who are subverting our democracy and our tax dollars that we will fight back. Across the country we are standing up and demanding that: - We tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first. - No ICE. No war. No private army serving authoritarian power. - Expand democracy. Hands off our vote. Join us for a rally in downtown Ballard as we peacefully show our demands to our neighbors and businesses, while we disrupt business as usual with No Work, No School, and No Shopping. A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
