May Day Strong

Indivisible

Indivisible Sherwood will be hosting a May Day Strong event. This is a war on working people—and we will not stand down. We are reclaiming our power from corporate elites, and we will not be intimidated by Trump or his billionaire backers. They’ve ruled for too long. Their time is up. May Day 2025 was just the beginning, this is May Day 2.0. We will build a world where every family has housing, healthcare, fair wages, union protection, and safety—regardless of race, zip code, or immigration status. Our Demands to Build the Society We Deserve: Stop the billionaire takeover corrupting our government. Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people. Fully funded schools, and healthcare and housing for all. Stop the attacks on immigrants, Black, indigenous, trans people, and all our communities. *Invest in people not wars. Indivisible Sherwood affirms the fundamental right to free speech. That right can only exist if it applies equally to those who disagree with our values. Counter-protesters are a reality everywhere; Sherwood is no exception. Please attend training to be prepared. Visit our web site at indivisiblesherwood.org for training videos A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. Please Alert one of our Event Safety Monitors in a yellow vest if you need assistance during the event.
