This is a peaceful counter-protest called by Stand Up To Racism Portsmouth, to show friendship and solidarity with refugees, to show show support for victims of racist attacks, and to show that the far right and fascists are not welcome. We strongly oppose those choosing to 'protest' outside the home of some of the most vulnerable people in society, who have no voice and no power. This is not protest, it's bullying and intimidation. We welcome anyone who wants to stand with us peacefully in solidarity with refugees. We will have stewards whose priority will be people's safety and de-escalating any confrontations.
