Join the Joyful Bridge Brigade on the third NO KINGS DAY from 12-2pm. We will be on the I-95 overpass that spans from Backlick to Loisdale over I-95. The JOYFUL BRIDGE BRIGADE is a friendly group of like-minded souls protesting the current regime and its heartless and un-American policies. Come join us, make new friends, stand up for a better future, and build our community of resistance. For this rally we join, in solidarity, our fellow citizens to emphasize we are a democracy and we will not stand by as this administration tries to the USA differently. To attend the actual rally The pedestrian walkover bridge is located across from the Springfield Masonic Temple on Backlick Rd, which is next to the Fairfax County Fire Department Engine Co. 22. The walkup ramp is right next to the Springfield Franconia Parkway Exit/Entrance Ramp. (on map, just above the map label for the Masonic Lodge). There is free parking at the Park & Ride lot at 6831 Backlick Rd across the street from the ramp to the overpass (you will have to J-walk to get to the ramp). Street parking is also possible on Beverly Lane, just south of the Parkway exit/entrance on Backlick. No J-walking involved but a block or so further away. Put Beverly Lane, with no street number, into your GPS and it will take you right to the area on Beverly Lane where you can park on the street.
