The JOYFUL BRIDGE BRIGADE is a friendly group of like-minded souls protesting the current regime and it's heartless and un-American policies. We give voice to our concerns and express our displeasure through messaging posted on the overpass, all-the-while building community and solidarity. Come join us, make new friends and stand up for a better future. As the current situation shows no signs of abating, we will continue our protests on a weekly basis on Thursday afternoons. There are two signup slots for each day: 2:15-3:00 is to help with setup 3:00-4:30 is to attend the actual rally The pedestrian walkover bridge is located across from the Springfield Masonic Temple on Backlick Rd, which is next to the Fairfax County Fire Department Engine Co. 22. The walkup ramp is right next to the Springfield Franconia Parkway Exit/Entrance Ramp. (on map, just above the map label for the Masonic Lodge). Parking at Beverly Lane, just south of the Parkway ramps on Backlick. Put Beverly Lane, with no street number, into your GPS and it will take you right to the area on Beverly Lane where you can park on the street.
