Rally for Our Parks – A Nonpartisan Gathering 📍 Castillo de San Marcos, St. Augustine 📅 Saturday, September 13 | 9:00–10:30 AM Join Indivisible St. Johns County and community partners for a nonpartisan rally in support of our National Parks, Florida State Parks, and public conservation lands. Our parks bring us together across political lines, and this event is about celebrating what we share: a love for the natural places that make Florida and our country special. ✨ How We’ll Show Up Together Start from a place of unity: protecting our parks and conservation lands Keep the focus on policies—not people (no personal attacks by word or sign) Speak out only against policies that directly threaten our parks and lands 🌿 A Respectful Space Trained peacekeepers will be on site to ensure the event stays welcoming and positive. If needed, they’ll help resolve any issues so we remain true to our shared purpose. 🎤 Program & Participation Local organizations are invited to set up tables (bring your own; setup begins at 8 AM) Co-sponsors may share brief remarks (3–5 minutes) in the spirit of collaboration and unity Attendees will be encouraged to support local Citizens Support Organizations (CSOs) that help protect our parks and lands Let’s come together—Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and everyone who calls St. Johns County home—to stand united for our parks.
