IN CONVERSATION WITH BLACK PUNK WOMEN

Offbeat Books

In honor of Women’s History Month, we present a panel on Black Punk Women featuring Honeychild Coleman, Nia Hemmitt, and Awleen Army, moderated by Constance Bailey! From the Sista Grrrl Riot movement to the 2020s, we will discuss the importance of Black women in the punk rock scene. Copies of Black Punk Now, an anthology of contemporary nonfiction, fiction, illustrations, and comics that collectively describe punk today, will also be available for purchase to be signed by the panelists following the discussion. You can RSVP to this free event using the QR code above, going to the linktree in our bio, or visiting blackpunkwomen.eventbrite.com 🎟️ Huge shoutout to the organizer @dani.earth and to @dekalblibrary for hosting! #womenshistorymonth #blackwomenshistory #blackpunk #stonecrest #panel
