Memorial Vigil: Remembering Children Killed in Iran - Ceasefire Now
Families for Palestine
On Sunday, 8 March Sydney Town Hall at 5.30pm, we will gather for a small memorial alongside @connectingthedots2025 and @wild.angels1
A primary school in southern Iran was reduced to rubble. At least 165 people killed.
Let’s come together, remembering the schoolgirls whose lives ended under falling US/israeli bombs. Let’s read out their names and remember girls’ parents whose hearts have been ripped apart.
They were children. Sitting at their desks. Maybe whispering to a friend. Maybe doodling in the corner of a notebook. Maybe waiting for the bell so they could run outside and laugh.
Instead, the sky opened with violence.
This memorial is for you - the children whose lives were shattered in a place that should have protected you.
As for the United States and Israel, who rained bombs on a school and killed innocent children - stop hiding behind the empty words of “security” and “liberation.” Let there be no doubt: the blood of those girls will not be forgotten, and the day of reckoning for those who ordered and justified this violence will come.
