The People’s Center for Palestine will host a virtual conversation with Wasim Said, speaking from Gaza, whose book Witness to the Hellfire of Genocide was written after multiple displacements from his home in Beit Hanoun. His testimony offers an urgent account of life in Gaza under ongoing bombardment—an essential narrative for understanding the realities on the ground and the stakes of documenting genocide in real time. The translation was recently published in October 2025 by 1804 Books, in collaboration with the People’s Center for Palestine and Liberated Texts.
