Spec’s employees have been organizing for better wages and benefits and a real voice on the job, and they’ll be voting on their union this Saturday. We’re gathering outside the store to show them that the central Texas community has their back. This rally is about solidarity, respect, and the belief that every worker deserves dignity and a seat at the table. Bring your signs, your friends, and your loudest cheers as we stand with the people who keep this store running every day. 📣 Why this matters: Workers' rights are critical to a functioning democracy, but business owners are often fearful and shortsighted in the face of unionization. Let's support our Temple neighbors in their union efforts and make sure that Spec's management knows that working with the union will gain loyal customers (and that anti-union tactics may lead to a boycott).
