Toronto Palestine Film Festival

To A Land Unknown + Fragmented Film Screenings

To A Land Unknown + Fragmented (SEPT 25) 🎥🎬 We have two films lined up back-to-back on Day 2 at 8:00 pm. Here’s a glimpse of what the films are about. To A Land Unknown by Mahdi Fleifel Reda and Chatila are two Palestinian cousins hustling their way through the underbelly of Athens pursuing their dream of making it to Germany. But as their hardship grows, so too does their desperation. When Chatila hatches a reckless all-or-nothing plan, it strains their bond and pushes the limits of what they will do for freedom. Fragmented by Tanya Marar and Balolas Carvalho Former political prisoner Qassem, a retired pioneer of journalism in Gaza, contemplates a future of freedom and dignity after having fled the oppression and genocide in Gaza. Get your tickets in bio ⬆ The films are co-presented by @watermelonpictures, @reelasian @palestineuoft and @ur4palestine.
