Tatreez Weekend | Film Screening: Stitching Palestine

Join us for a weekend exploring the art, history, and living traditions of tatreez. Through collection tours, hands-on workshops, a film screening, and family programming, this weekend brings together artists, storytellers, and community. This weekend is presented by the Textile Museum of Canada in partnership with the Toronto Palestinian Film Festival, and supported by our community partners. Weekend Highlights: APRIL 24 & 26 | Collection Tours with Nina Rafique — Explore historic Palestinian thobes and the stories stitched into them APRIL 25 | Tatreez Workshop with Learn Palestine — Learn traditional stitches and create your own piece (intermediate level) April 25 | Film Screening — Stitching Palestine by Carol Mansour APRIL 26 | Family Tatreez Workshop with Learn Palestine — Hands-on introduction for children and caregivers (beginner level) šŸŽŸļø Spots are limited — advance booking recommended (link in bio).
