Tracy Resistance and Action Coalition - Indivisible

Protest ICE Violence and Waging War for Oil - Tracy CA

On Wednesday morning in Minneapolis, an ICE agent shot and killed a woman in her car as she was trying to drive away. She was obeying another agent’s order to drive away and instead of getting out of the vehicle’s way, the ICE agent shot and killed her. Videos show he easily could have gotten out of the way with no harm to himself or anyone else. And last weekend, the Trump administration illegally and unconstitutionally invaded Venezuela to arrest their president and take control of their oil for the billionaires. Trump has made it clear that they invaded and occupied Venezuela to take control of the country’s oil. In this case, oil corporations like Chevron and Citgo will line their pockets while the rest of us struggle to pay for groceries, make rent, or get healthcare. We’re saying no to occupation here at home, and no to occupation abroad. In response to these atrocities, TRAC – Indivisible will protest ICE and their horrific tactics and the illegal occupation of Venezuela this Saturday, 12:00 noon – 3:00pm at the corner of Corral Hollow and 11th St. If you are as angry as we are, make your protest sign and show up for a peaceful honk-n-wave to raise awareness and express solidarity with other protestors across the country.
