Sign Holding at the Bridge, Tyngsboro Town Center

Indivisible

This a local Indivisible event! This sign holding has a theme, see below- Join us for a positive, peaceful, sign holding to celebrate the power of the people, and the heart of America. Our president has called us extremists, terrorists, people who hate the country. We know it is the opposite. We do this because we love our country, democracy, the constitution. Let’s show the love and stand against the negativity. Rather than negative signs, we encourage you to phrase things in a positive way with a big red heart. Think about all of the things this administration has taken away from us, and what matters most to you. Examples of signs: I (heart) America, or National Parks, or Universal Health Care, or the First Amendment, or peaceful protests. For those who want to take a stronger stand, your outrage can still be shown as a positive: I (heart) the 25th Amendment, the power to impeach, the release of more Epstein files, a congress with a backbone, a president who tells the truth…. Wear some red and/or pink, and wave, dance and smile. Be sure to wave enthusiastically or blow kisses to those who oppose us. Let’s be a symbol of joy amid the many horrible things that have happened lately. In solidarity, Maura, Carolyn, Jill The people have the power The power to dream, to rule to wrestle the world from fools it's decreed the people rule it's decreed the people rule -Patty Smith A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
