This a local Indivisible NWTN event! Saturday September 27th, at 10:00 am, residents of NWTN will gather in front of Simmons Bank, as part of a statewide day of action across Tennessee in solidarity with Memphis. The action comes in response to President Trump’s recent executive memorandum ordering the deployment of the National Guard to Memphis. We will speak out about eradicating poverty not militarization of our cities. Bring your signs, your voices and your love for Memphis and our free cities. If you have a gold, yellow or goldenrod shirt, that is the color we are uniting under. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
