Grainger Engineering has entered a $9 million partnership with the U.S. Department of War. This contract ties UIUC to militarized research that fuels violence and undermines the role of education. Our academics should not serve the war machine, and students refuse to let this go unchallenged. We are calling for full divestment from militarized research and from all systems that enable occupation and genocide.
