🟣 One Voice Against Patriarchal Violence To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, @movimentgraffitti invites the public to a demonstration on Sunday 23rd November at 4pm in front of Law Courts, Valletta. We want to underline the culture of verbal violence permeating our society on a daily basis, from the hateful and sexist comments on social media to cat calling and disempowering insults. We want to give visibility to the violence, physical and psychological, happening inside houses, behind closed doors, in workplaces, in schools, and in other institutions. We want to remember the victims of all the femicides that happened in the past years in Malta, and to say their names. 📣 We invite the public to join us in the communal fight against patriarchal violence and to empower us to bring change. Join us with your placards and loud voices, so that we will be one united strong voice against patriarchal violence!
