Press Conference: Ġustizzja għal Artna

Moviment Graffitti

🟠 The campaign in favor of justice for our land will continue, and once again we are asking for your full support. On Saturday, 11 April, we will launch Ġustizzja għal Artna: The Reforms We Need. While we will reiterate our call for the withdrawal of the two bills and the three legal notices put forward by the Government, we will also present our proposals for genuine planning reform, based on the interests of our country rather than those of developers. 📝 For many years, we have been urgently calling for planning reform that addresses the mess we are facing in planning, the environment, and our quality of life — from unbridled construction to unrestrained commercial activity, attacks on agriculture, and the destruction of the natural environment. Therefore, when last July the Government presented the so-called planning reform, which in reality was a developers’ wish list, many people’s anger had two dimensions: these laws would not only dismantle what little protection remains from the greed of a few, but they also represented a missed opportunity to implement the reforms we truly need. 📍Join us for a Press Conference on Saturday, 11 April, at 10:30am, in front of Castille, to show that the people want reforms for the common good. We will present four proposals in the areas of: planning appeals, enforcement, sanctioning in ODZ areas, and the classification of land as ODZ. See you there.
