🔴 This morning we are announcing a national protest for Saturday, 4th October at 10am - ĠUSTIZZJA GĦAL ARTNA: IRTIRAWHOM ISSA! We'll meet in front of the Court and march to Castille. Right now we face an enormous threat that we can only stop through the strength of everyone who cares about justice in our country. The legislative package the Government wants to pass in the field of environment and planning has the sole aim of favoring the powerful and benefiting big developers. 👉 Every safeguard that currently exists will be dismantled. The Planning Authority will be given absolute power. 👉 It will become extremely difficult for ordinary people, communities, and organisations to appeal decisions made by corrupt authorities. 👉 They also want to grant amnesty for all environmental illegalities, without limits on size or location. Now is the time to show that we will not allow them to run roughshod over the people. It is a great shame that we have to protest to protect the quality of life, our environment, and our democracy.
