Indivisible Greater Vancouver

No ICE in our Hotels

🚨🚨🚨Location Change 🚨🚨🚨 Join us to say, “No ICE in Our Hotels,"" in front of a local hotel where ICE agents have been reportedly staying. We’ll rally to say we oppose masked ICE agents grabbing our neighbors off our streets and deporting them, often without due process. We’ll show we stand strong against ICE agents sending our neighbors to overcrowded detention centers, often far from their families, and from their lawyers. Due to reports of ICE agents staying at a new location in Vancouver, we will be changing the location of our weekly “No ICE in Our Hotels” rallies accordingly, starting Wednesday, Oct. 15, through the rest of October. The rallies will now be near the Hotel Indigo at the Vancouver Waterfront. We will rally at the roundabout at Waterfront Park, at the intersection of Waterfront Way and Esther Street. The rallies will continue to be from 5-6 pm Wednesdays. ICE agents have been reportedly staying at various hotels in the Vancouver area; most recently reportedly at this waterfront hotels. Join us at these rallies to say we stand strong against masked, unidentified ICE agents grabbing our neighbors and throwing them into unmarked vans. Bring signs and noisemakers saying we won’t stay silent as our neighbors are disappeared. We at Indivisible GV strongly believe that peaceful, non-violent activism offers social movements the most power to effect change. Through peaceful protests, we set an example of making our voices heard with dignity, empowered by truth.
