No ICE in our Hotels

Indivisible Greater Vancouver

🚨 Weekly Rally: No ICE in Our Hotels 🚨 📍SE 123rd Ave and Mill Plain Blvd 🕔 Wednesdays, 4-5 PM Based on reports that ICE agents are staying at Residence Inn, 411 SE 123rd Ave., Vancouver, we are moving our Wednesday rally back to the intersection of Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard and Southeast 123rd Avenue, the closest busy intersection near the hotel. Join IGV and MoveOn-Clark County to rally here in April and say ICE is not welcome in our hotels. Show up to say we won’t stay silent as masked people kidnap our neighbors without due process and lock them up indefinitely in concentration camps! Bring signs saying, “No ICE in Our Hotels,” “ICE Out for Good,” “Stop Kidnapping our Neighbors,” etc. We at Indivisible Greater Vancouver strongly believe that peaceful, non-violent activism offers social movements the most power to effect change. Through peaceful protests, we set an example of making our voices heard with dignity, empowered by truth. We do not condone intimidation, threats, vandalism, interference with access to a business, or any other lawless actions. If instigators attempt to violate our commitment to non-violence, we will try to de-escalate them and will end the event if needed to maintain a safe environment. Your safety, and that of others, is our top priority. Please stay on the sidewalk or designated area Allow pedestrians to pass Do not engage with anyone who tries to harass or intimidate us We will seek to de-escalate any harassment or intimidation and will end the event if necessary for safety
