Maktaba Study Group Thursday, Feb 5, 2026 6:30 pm 1803 East 1st Ave. The next Maktaba study group meeting will be on Thursday, Feb 5th at 6:30 pm (1803 East 1st Ave). The focus of this evening’s discussion will be on the Palestinian refugees in the camps in Lebanon, their historical importance in the resistance movement, their current conditions, and the centrality of the right of return in the national liberation struggle. The readings for this discussion session will include three short articles by Canada Palestine Association’s Marion Kawas, written after she visited the camps in Lebanon in 2018, and a translated article by Ahmad al-Sabbahi on the current deteriorating conditions of the Palestinian camps due to PA and Lebanese government actions and imperialist-zionist pressure to eliminate all sites of resistance.   Hope to see you then.
